A 43-year-old Santa Ana man has been arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography.
The Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD), an active participant in the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, has successfully apprehended another alleged offender. An SAPD investigator began a lengthy investigation after having received tips about a suspect, known as Israel Castaneda, who was believed to be in possession of and distributing child pornography.
He was arrested by the Santa Ana Police Department Directed Patrol Unit on the morning of June 29, 2021, following the issuance of a residential search warrant in Santa Ana. He is being held at Santa Ana Jail.
