Three Suspects Arrested in Connection with a Murder of a 25-Year-Old Man

WALNUT CREEK — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 25- year-old man earlier this month. One of the suspects in this fatal shooting is a juvenile.
Multiple gunshots were reported on June 17 shortly before 11 p.m. This shooting occurred near the intersection of North California Boulevard and Ygnacio Valley Road.
Walnut Creek officers found the victim Stacy Corley, 25 of Vallejo, inside his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene soon afterward.
Investigators identified another vehicle associated with the fatal shooting. The getaway vehicle was tracked to a residence in Martinez, and a search warrant was obtained.
The Central County SWAT team responded to assist with service of the warrant. Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office deputies also assisted Walnut Creek PD.
Jaesin Collado, 22 of Martinez, was subsequently arrested by sheriff’s deputies. Collado was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. Authorities also arrested a 17-year-old juvenile.
The third suspect is Dylan R. Baker, 18 of Martinez. Baker turned himself into authorities. He was arrested on an outstanding Ramey Warrant on June 26. Baker faces a murder charge and bond for his release from custody was set at $1 million.
Collado and the juvenile each presently face charges as accessories in connection with this homicide case.
