“A shooting suspect has been arrested following a three-month long investigation by the Gang Task Force. On April 25th just before 5 p.m. officers were made aware of a shooting on North Kern Ave.
When officers arrived, they discovered a 17-year-old had been shot and transported by family to Woodland Memorial Hospital. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.
Officers collected evidence and began investigating. The Gang Task Force continued the investigation, which led to the arrest of a 17-year-old Woodland resident on July 6th. The juvenile was booked into the Yolo County Juvenile Detention facility for attempted murder along with a gang enhancement.
