Salinas Police: Man allegedly caught driving with stolen vehicle

“Officers with the Violence Suppression Task Force (VSTF) observed Aaron O’Hare (31) driving a stolen vehicle at Rossi St and Sherwood Dr. VSTF Officers attempted to stop the vehicle and O’Hare fled at a high rate of speed.
O’Hare then ran from the vehicle with Officers now pursuing him on foot. K9 Keno assisted Officers and was able to apprehend the suspect. During the foot pursuit an Officer was injured.
Both the suspect and Officer were transported to NMC.
The suspect was cleared medical and transported to Monterey County Jail where he was lodged on several charges to include possession of a stolen vehicle, vehicle pursuit, and injuring an Officer while resisting arrest.”
