Man Suspected of Sexually Abusing Four-Year-Old Girl Arrested in Victorville

A man from Victorville has been arrested for multiple charges of sexual abuse against a 4-year-old girl.
The suspect, 24-year-old Elijah Maury Thompson, was taken into custody on Monday, July 12, 2021, by detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC).
Investigators had received a cyber tip from an Electronic Service Provider about pornographic videos of children that were being distributed online. The owner of the account was determined to be 24-year-old Elijah Maury Thompson. According to the release, “Detectives also discovered correspondence from Elijah indicating he sexually abused the four-year-old-victim.”
Thompson was arrested in the 13500 block of Cheshire Street, according to booking records. He was booked into San Bernardino’s Central Detention Center on the charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, oral copulation, sexual penetration with force, and possession of child pornography. His bail was set at $250,000. He was scheduled to appear at Victorville Superior Courthouse on Wednesday, July 14th.
