On July 9th in the late afternoon, a Woodland Police Officer pulled over the suspect’s vehicle on Interstate 5 South near Pioneer Street. The driver was identified as 22-year old Andre Lepe of Woodland.
A Placer County Sheriff’s detective responded and searched the car. She found a loaded Glock 27 belonging to Lepe in an unzipped backpack sitting on the front passenger seat; she also found 90 bullets throughout the vehicle.
