“On 7/24/2021 at 12;18 PM, officers responded to a loud music complaint coming from a vehicle in the 200 block of Griffin St. Officers contacted two individuals in the parking lot of the apartment complex. They were working on the vehicle and playing loud music.
A record check on the two individuals revealed Jose Echeverria (34) had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was on probation. He was taken into in custody.
A search of Echeverria found meth in his possession and a high-capacity magazine for a FNS 40 caliber handgun. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded FNS 40 caliber handgun with a high-capacity magazine. The handgun was unregistered.
Echeverria was later transported to county jail for probation violation, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a concealed firearm and several other gun related charges. The second individual with Echeverria was released.”
