“On Monday evening, Deputy Sorini was patrolling highway 108 in Jamestown. He observed a vehicle commit a moving violation. A check of the vehicle’s registration status showed it was suspended.
Deputy Sorini conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver, 37-year-old Sabrina Rivette of Sonora, and the passenger, 49-year-old Jerome Zylstra of Columbia. A record check of the Rivette determined she had misdemeanor warrants for her arrest.
A consent search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputy Sorini located over 28 grams of methamphetamine separated into different quantities, cash, packaging material, drug paraphernalia, and brass knuckles. Further investigation determined the drugs, paraphernalia, drug sales materials, and brass knuckles belonged to Zylstra.
Zylstra was arrested for possession of drugs for sale, possession of brass knuckles and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rivette was issued a citation for her warrants and released at the scene.”
