Police Find Numerous Assault Rifles and Thousands of Rounds of Ammo Inside Home, Arrest 2 Suspects
A convicted felon and another male suspect have been arrested after police found numerous assault rifles, ammunition, and narcotics inside a Rancho Cucamonga home.
Ryan Fisher, a 30-year-old convicted felon from Rancho Cucamonga, made himself a suspect once again after he defrauded a bank into giving him a loan of $30,900. Rancho Cucamonga police issued a warrant for his arrest on July 29th.
Deputies found Fisher outside his residence, located 11600 block of Church Street, where they arrested him. His open garage revealed an array of machining tools and several AR-15 rifles in progress.
Deputies obtained a search warrant and proceeded to find a plethora of other firearms and related items inside the home. As a convicted felon, Fisher has been prohibited from possessing ammunition or firearms.
The police news release describes the findings:
“Inside they located 12 completed handguns, one sniper rifle and seven complete AR 15 rifles, all with no serial numbers. They also located body armor, several thousands of rounds of ammunition, and narcotics. Several of the rifles were equipped with suppressors, and several were short-barreled rifles, all which are illegal to possess in the state of California. Deputies also located approximately 15 unattached suppressors, and dozens of home manufactured gun parts to build more AR-15 rifles and handguns.”
Police obtained a search warrant for an additional location, where they arrested a second suspect, identified as 30-year-old Alexander Sayegh of Rancho Cucamonga. Details about Sayegh’s connection to the case were not provided.
Both suspects were booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Fisher is being held on $210,000 for several firearms charges and two warrants. Sayegh is currently out on bail, which was set at $50,000
