“On July 31st at 1 a.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 80, near Loomis. The deputy identified the driver as 49-year old Shawn Andrews of Grass Valley.

While speaking with Andrews, the deputy noticed a glass smoking pipe in plain sight. The deputy searched Andrews’ car and found another glass smoking pipe, over a pound of methamphetamine, plastic baggies, a Colt .22 Magnum revolver in the center console and a large amount of cash in Andrews’ wallet.

Andrews was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession and transportation of methamphetamine for sale, possession of narcotics with a loaded firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
