SUSPECT IN KIDNAPPING AND SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATION ARRESTED
RIVERSIDE – A suspect in a kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred in July was arrested on August 27.
Ther crime occurred around 2:00 am when the victim was walking int he area of Mission Inn Avenue and Mount Rubidoux Drive.
A man forced her into his vehicle and sexually assaulted her.
An investigation ensued, and a toip came in from a detective with the Pasadena Police Department that led to identifying 37-year-old Louis Edward Brown as the suspect.
Brown was arrested and charged with kidnapping and sexual assault.
The press release concludes, “It is believed Mr. Brown was living out of his gold 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with rear half doors that do not open unless the front passenger doors are open. The suspect indicated he picked up additional women in Riverside County in recent months, so detectives believe there may be others who were victimized by Mr. Brown who have not come forward yet.”
