“On 8/27/2021, the Colusa Police Department with the assistance of Colusa County Sheriff’s Office, Gridley Police Department, and Williams Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 1700 block of Hazel Street in the City of Gridley.
The search warrant was for the residence of 45 year old Anthony Lee Ayala. Ayala came to the attention of law enforcement after a parent of the juvenile victim had discovered inappropriate communications between the two.
Additional crimes involving the minor were discovered during the course of the investigation.
Anthony Lee Ayala was taken into custody and subsequently booked at the Colusa County Jail for 288(a) PC (oral copulation), 288(b) PC (lewd acts), and 311.11 PC (child pornography). His bail is set at $150,000.00.”
