“Thanks to our followers, we were able to identify the suspect from the vehicle burglary and ID theft post on September 27th!
The suspect broke into two vehicles parked along Foresthill Road in Auburn and stole the victims’ wallets.
The suspect used their credit cards at multiple stores throughout Auburn, spending over $1,600.
We have identified the suspect as 42-year old Manuel Salvador Cortes of Lincoln.
Salvador has outstanding warrants in Placer and Amador counties. Detectives are actively looking for him.
