Couple from Reno, NV, reportedly caught with stolen truck, property in Placer County

“On October 12th at 7:30 p.m., an alert citizen waved down a CHP officer to report two suspicious people near a construction site in Alta. Placer County Sheriff’s deputies responded to assist and found the two suspects sitting in a Dodge pickup truck.
The male was identified as 40-year old Joshua Dennis of Reno, Nevada. The female gave deputies a fake identification and lied about her name. She was eventually identified as 33-year old Marisa Rodriguez of Reno, Nevada.
The truck the suspects were driving was reported stolen out of Solano County. Deputies contacted the victim and learned additional items in the truck, including a snowboard and Mac computer, were also stolen from the victim.
During the search of the vehicle, deputies found four grams of Fentanyl.
Both suspects were arrested for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and possession of Fentanyl. Rodriguez was additionally arrested for false impersonation.”
