UNINCORPORATED HEMET COUNTY – An armed robbery with a firearm that took place on
October 20th at 4:04 PM sent Hemet Sheriff’s Station Deputies to a business located on the 42000 block of East Florida Avenue. Arriving Deputies secured the scene.
Interviews revealed that two armed individuals had entered the business. They brandished their
weapons, then fled with several items.
Further investigation was conducted, and several witnesses were contacted. Hemet Sheriff’s Station
Investigators arrived on-scene to assume the investigation.
One robbery suspect was ID’d as Jeremiah Woods (18), of Hemet. Later that evening, he was located,
arrested for robbery, and booked into the county jail.
This ongoing investigation has Investigators searching for other involved and as-yet unidentified
