Rancho Cucamonga man arrested after exposing himself to teenage boy; police seeking additional victims
Rancho Cucamonga – A 64-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly exposing himself to a teenage boy and attempting to get the boy to do the same.
The suspect, Scott Christopher Anders, was reported to police by residents of the condominium complex where he lives, located the 7100 Block of East Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga. According to the release, “Anders befriended several male teenage juveniles in the complex, and invited them into his home to do chores, and walk his dogs,” providing gifts and money in exchange. “While one of the male juveniles was in Anders’ residence,” the release continues, “Anders disrobed, exposing himself to the male juvenile. Anders attempted to get the juvenile to undress in front of him.”
Rancho Cucamonga police brought Anders in for questioning on Saturday, October 16th, after which he was arrested and charged with annoying/molesting a child and indecent exposure. Anders is currently out on bail with a court date set for December 1st.
Police believe there may be additional victims. “This is an on-going investigation. Detectives are releasing a booking photo of Scott Anders, as they believe there may be additional juvenile victims who were contacted by Anders, and have yet to come forward,” says the release.
