Police: Vallejo PD arrests suspect in October 11, 2021 homicide of 35-year-old man

“VALLEJO – On Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at approximately 3:07 p.m., the Vallejo Police Department located and arrested 55-year-old Darryl M. Grooms, who had an outstanding warrant in connection to the October 11, 2021 homicide of a 35-year-old Vallejo man.
Grooms was located in the parking lot of a business establishment in 90 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane. The suspect and victim were known to each other.
The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division would like to thank the witnesses who helped to solve this murder. Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to contact Detective Josh Caitham at 707-648-4332 or Detective Yanette Hernandez at 707-917-4123.”
