Reports of a 55-year-old male having ongoing inappropriate intimate contact with 13- and 15- year-old girls may be enough to make the hair on the back of a normal person’s neck stand up, but that’s just the kind of information that kicks the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Sexual Assault Unit into immediate action.
According to VCSD spokespersons Detective Nicole Adrianzen and Captain Denise Sliva, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies received information on October 19 th of contact between 55- year-old Thousand oaks resident Guadalupe Rosas Hernandez and a 13-year-old female that involved the “inappropriate touching of her body several times.” That report also indicated that
Hernandez may have victimized another 15-year-old female.
Those reports lead detectives to interview the 15-year-old who “disclosed she was inappropriately touched by Hernandez several times when she was 13 years old.” The ensuing investigation developed “significant evidence” supporting those allegations, and on October
19 th Hernandez was contacted and taken into custody.
He was then transported to Ventura County Jail, where he was booked on multiple counts of continuous sexual abuse and lewd acts
upon a child. He remains in custody with his bail set at $500,000.
