SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AFTER MEETING VICTIM ONLINE

“RIVERSIDE, CA – The Riverside Police Department’s Sexual Assault – Child Abuse Unit (SACA) recently arrested Eduardo “Eddie” Ramon Flores, 34-years-old of Santa Fe Springs, for sexual assault. Detectives began an investigation after learning a woman had been victimized in early September after meeting Mr. Flores online through a dating app called “Shout.” The alleged sexual assault occurred after the suspect met the victim in person for the first time.
An arrest warrant was obtained and on Friday, October 29, 2021, Mr. Flores was located in Santa Fe Springs and later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. He was released that same day on $55,000 bail.
