A 27 year old man arrested in Northern Sacramento county on suspicion of domestic violence and felony weapons charges is free on bond less than nine hours later, according to reports.
Jail records confirmed that 27-year-old Jesus Martin Gutierrez was released on bond just hours after his arrest in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 14, in the area of Greenback Lane and Fair Oaks Boulevard. The victim had called police to report that she had been the victim of domestic violence, and that Gutierrez was still at the residence, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Responding deputies reportedly intercepted Gutierrez as he was leaving the residence and walking toward a vehicle. Though Gutierrez was initially uncooperative, deputies were able to de-escalate and take him into custody without further incident, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Gutierrez reportedly had a concealed gun on his person, and eleven more guns in the vehicle, three of which had been reported stolen. Deputies also located an illegal silencer, high-capacity drums, and several extended magazines.
Gutierrez was taken into custody on suspicion of nineteen charges, including corporal injury, carrying a loaded firearm on one’s person, and carrying a loaded stolen firearm in a vehicle. Per jail records, by 2 PM the same day, he was free after posting $50,000 bail.
