During the night of November 4th, around 4:00 am, officers with the Redding Police Department responded to the 3600 block of Polaris Way concerning a shooting.
24-year-old Ray Morrow fired a shotgun “wilfully and negligently” out in front fo a residence.
The suspect came out of the residence and was then taken into custody without incident.
No injured persons were discoveredd, but other firearms were. A search warrant produced two shotguns, two rifles and ammunition.
Bring a convicted felon, Morrow is not allowed to possess these items.
The investigation that followed determined that Morrow shot his gun into his own car and other personal property. He did not say why he did this.
“Morrow was booked into the Shasta County Jail for negligent discharge of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition and prohibited person in possession of firearms.”
