“Merced – Merced PD Gang Unit makes an arrest after officers locate narcotics and a 9mm ghost gun.
On December 1, 2021 at approximately 4:45 PM the Merced Police Departments Gang Violence Suppression Unit served a search warrant in the 3200 block of Shamrock Ave.
Officer Laguna obtained information that the resident at the home was in possession of an illegal unserialized handgun often referred to as a ghost gun.
A search of the home revealed several packages of narcotics, ammunition and a 9mm handgun. The resident Cisco Escamilla (20) a known gang member was arrested for firearm, narcotic, and gang related charges.”
