Glenn County man arrested following search warrant for suspicion of narcotic sales

by the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office:
Orland, CA- Thursday December 09, 2021, members of the Glenn Investigations and Narcotics Task Force (GLINTF), along with a Glenn County District Attorney Investigator and Officers from the California Highway Patrol Willows Office, served a search warrant for complaints of illicit drug sales. The sales were reportedly occurring at a residence located in a rural area east of the City of Orland. Agents contacted several people, including 34-year-old Hector Octavio Salazar DeGonzales, 38-year-old Victoria Gutierrez Alcarez, along with one other young adult residing at that location.
During the investigation, agents located the following illegal items:
- 425.1 grams of Methamphetamine
- 21..3 grams of Heroin
- 20 pounds of Processed Marijuana
- 2 Rifles
- 1 Handgun
- 1, 50 round .45 caliber High Capacity Magazine
- 3 Stolen Trucks
- 4 Stolen Motorcycles
- 1 Stolen U-haul Trailer
GLINTF Agents seized all of the illegal contraband, weapons, and stolen items, and arrested DeGonzales on the following charges: Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Controlled Substances for Sale, Vehicle Theft, and Possession of Stolen Property. DeGonzales was booked in the Glenn County Jail for the above charges without incident. His bail is set at $60,000.00. The other two residents were released from the scene. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed with the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office upon completion of the investigation.
