“On 12/20 at 1:45PM, SRPD officers responded to the area of Bellevue Ave and Moorland when a citizen reported seeing a subject with a gun. The subject was described as a Hispanic Male wearing a dark blue hoody, a blue bandana and checkered shorts. The gun was allegedly protruding out of the subject’s pocket.
As Officers arrived to the area, the subject matching the description began running. Officers pursued him and located him near Moorland and Neville Way ins South Santa Rosa. He was taken into custody without incident and Officers located a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun in his pocket.
The suspect was identified as a 15-year-old juvenile from Santa Rosa. He was arrested for multiple charges of carrying a concealed weapon and for being in possession of a firearm that was loaded and not registered to him.”
