“A traffic stop in Penryn leads to the discovery of heroin for sale.
On January 13th at 8 p.m., a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop on Boyington Road. The deputy contacted the driver and identified her as 33-year-old Whitney Ross, of Auburn.
The deputy searched the vehicle as the passenger was on probation and found two glass smoking pipes and a locked box.
Once the deputy was given the combination to the locked box, he uncovered nearly 24 grams of heroin, a scale, multiple zip-lock baggies, and a large amount of cash.
Ross was arrested for possession and transportation of heroin for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
