NEWS RELEASE: HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION ON PASAROBLES DRIVE & ARREST
“At approximately 1:08 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from a resident on the 4800 block of Pasarobles Drive in Sacramento County stating that someone had been shot and that the shooter left the residence on foot.
Upon arrival, deputies located one unresponsive adult female victim inside the home who sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding personnel from Sacramento Metro Fire.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives tracked, located and arrested Low Paul Lueras (40), of Sacramento, for the murder of Mandalaina Martinez (38). Lueras was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail yesterday on a single count of homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon. Lueras is being held without bail. No further information is available at this time.
