Dispute over money leads to assault as victim holds daughter

‘To protect the identity of the victim in this case. The victim will be referred to as “Victim”.

On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at around 8:23 pm, the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to a residence just outside the city limits of Dorris, California, for a 9-1-1 phone call made by Victim asking for help. An SCSO Sergeant responded and found Victim lying on the floor of the residence with a large laceration to their leg which was bleeding profusely.

Victim said they were in a dispute over money with their girlfriend, Jena Jackson, age 26, of Klamath Falls, Oregon. During the dispute, Jackson attacked Victim which resulted in the laceration to the leg along with other injuries.

Victim was holding their daughter during the attack, who was not harmed. After the incident, Jackson was driven to Klamath County by a roommate who witnessed the attack.

Deputies of the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office later located Jackson and arrested her. She was taken to the Klamath County Jail where she is being held until extradition to Siskiyou County for attempted murder, felony domestic violence, child endangerment, and assault with a deadly weapon. Victim was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital.”
