Three Arrested for Shooting that Left Two Dead at Ducor Gas Station

“Around 3:45 p.m., TCSO Deputies were called to the Ducor Shell Gas Station at 23314 A56 for a shooting.
During the investigation, Deputies learned three additional gunshot victims had arrived at Delano Hospital.
Two of the shooting victims have died and three are in stable condition.

Detectives arrested 21-year-old Kevin Serrano of Ducor for his role in the shooting. Serrano was an active participant in the shootout and has been booked at the South County Detention Facility on Homicide Charges.

During the course of their investigation, Homicide Detectives learned a red Nissan Altima and white Chevrolet Malibu arrived at the Shell Gas Station simultaneously and parked in front of the business. Almost instantaneously, people got out of each vehicle and began shooting at each other. All of them were determined to be from rival Northern and Southern gang associates.
During the shooting, Francisco Rodriguez and 21-year-old Jaan Maciel of Ducor, both in the Chevrolet Malibu, were shot. 35-year-old Jose Palomo, a 17-year-old boy and 32-year-old Mauro Aguilar, all of Delano, were in the Nissan Altima and were also shot. All of the individuals involved were armed and were active participants in the shooting, which resulted in the death of Francisco Rodriguez and Mauro Aguilar.
Detectives arrested Palomo and the 17-year-old boy for the murder of Rodriguez. Maciel was arrested for the murder of Mauro Aguilar. They are all are being held without bail.
