“On January 28, 2022 at approximately 5:30 pm deputies responded to a call of a burglary in progress at a rural property with multiple buildings in Madison, CA.
Two subjects were located on scene and detained. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two subjects, 30 year old Clifford McAnelly and 40 year old Valentin Buentello both of Woodland for burglary and conspiracy charges.
Buentello was also found to be in violation of his probation. Additionally McAnelly was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm, which was recovered.
This case was already under investigation due to a prior burglary. Thank you to our deputies for patrolling this area and for their quick response.
Because of their response, none of the victim’s items were removed from the property.”
