“On February 3rd, 2022, at 3:15 P.M., officers from the Redding Police Department’s Neighborhood Police Unit (NPU) and agents from the Shasta Inter-Agency Narcotics Task Force (SINTF) responded to 2002 Hilltop Drive (the Royal Syndicate Tattoo Parlor) to serve a search warrant at the business. NPU officers had investigated the business and the business owner, Donald Stroud (44 years of Redding), and a search warrant was obtained.
Upon arrival, Donald Stroud was contacted in the parking lot of the Royal Syndicate and a search of his person revealed a useable amount of Fentanyl. NPU officers then conducted a search pursuant to the terms of the search warrant and located methamphetamine in various places throughout the interior of the business, narcotics paraphernalia, a large amount of marijuana, as well as copious amounts of packaging material.
Officers ultimately booked Stroud into the Shasta County Jail for violation of the following: maintaining a business for the purposes of distributing controlled substances, possession of narcotics for sales and possession of marijuana for sales.”
