“On Friday, 2-11-22, at approximately 6:20 p.m. we received a call from a sporting good store off Fairway Drive reporting a theft in progress.
Officers were in the area and arrived on-scene as the suspect vehicle fled from the parking lot. A traffic stop was initiated but the vehicle did not yield.
A short pursuit ended in a non-injury traffic collision at Highway 65 and Galleria Blvd.
Two occupants fled the vehicle on foot while one remained in the vehicle. A perimeter was established in the area of the accident. The two outstanding suspects were eventually found and taken into custody without incident.
The three suspects were identified as 21 year old Aundreas Green who was on Post Release Community Supervision, 29 year old Kayzin Davis, and 20 year old Gavriel Brown. Officers also recovered a loaded firearm.
All three suspects were charged with organized retail theft, grand theft, conspiracy, and other related charges.”
