At 4:00 pm on February 16th, a carjacking of a silver sedan occurred near the intersection of Hopper Lane and Whipple Court.
The name of Harlan Williams was broadcast as a possible suspect.
Round Valley Tribal Police reported that they had spotted the stolen vehicle and were attempting to initiate a traffic stop.
Next, the stolen vehilce had crashed and its occupants had ran off. Bridgette Frank, walking nearby, was detained in the incident.
The story unfolded that Williams came to a residence on Whipple Court. Frank was there, where Williams shot a round into the ceiling.
Williams and Frank left the residence and, at the earlier mentioned intersection, catrjacked the sedan. In the process, the suspecthit the driver in the head with his gun. Frank got in on the passenger side and took the victim’s cell phone
Soon after, Williams was arrested. Both suspects were identified by witnesses. Williams was already on parole. He was arrested for carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon, and parole violation and was booked and “held in lieu of no bail due to the PRCS violation.”
For her part, Frank was arrested for robbery, booked into Mendocino County Jail and held in Lieu of $75,000 bail.”
