“On February 16th, 2022, at around 4:30 PM, officers with the Red Bluff Police Department were conducting extra foot patrol in the wooded area near Sacred Heart School. Officers contacted an adult male who is currently on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) near an encampment within the wooded area. At the encampment, was a vehicle, numerous tent sites and a travel trailer.
In the trailer, officers were able to observe in plain view, suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and two firearms. Tehama County Probation Officers responded to the location and confirmed the trailer belonged to the adult male and was subject to search due to his PRCS terms.
During a search of the trailer, two firearms were located, (one with a ground off serial number), approximately 70 rounds of ammunition, a stun gun type device, suspected methamphetamine, and methamphetamine smoking devices. The adult male was a convicted felon and was prohibited from processing these items. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail for numerous new criminal charges, an outstanding warrant, and a violation of his PRCS terms.”
