“On February 4, 2022 detectives from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Cox, age 34 of Westwood. Detectives had sought an arrest warrant for Cox after conducting a lengthy investigation involving the coordination with multiple jurisdictions.
Cox is currently being held at the Lassen County jail with bail set at $1,000,000. The charges are as follows:
Two counts violation of 288.5(a) P.C. – Continuous sexual abuse of a minor under 14 years of age
This investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information related to the investigation is encouraged to call the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office at 530-257-6121.
