“On 02/19/22, LPD responded to a report of an unresponsive 14 year old juvenile who had possibly overdosed. The 14 year old was transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the juvenile victim passed away on 02/21/22.
Throughout the course of the investigation, LPD identified and arrested Cecilia Silva (18, of Sacramento) in connection with the juvenile victim’s death.
Silva is being held at the San Joaquin County Jail on charges of 192(b) PC – Manslaughter, 273A(A) PC – Willful child cruelty resulting in death, 272 PC – Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, 11352 HS – Transporting/Furnishing a narcotic and 148(A)(1) PC – Resist/obstruct/delay a public official.”
