L.A. Superbowl Playoff Knock-Out – Charged with Assault Outside of SoFi Stadium

INGLEWOOD – On January 30, a man approached a group of people watching the Superbowl playoff game man outside of SoFi Stadium parking lot at 1001 Stadium Drive during the playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. A confrontation commenced, whereby Bryan Alexis Cifuentes (dob 7/11/88) of Los Angeles, allegedly knocked the victim out and then fled the scene.
“We want to continue to ensure that our sporting events are safe for everyone,” announced Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón on March 9th . “We will not tolerate violent behavior at what should have been a joyous occasion for our county.”
Cifuentes faces one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury, and has been charged with assaulting a man. While the case remains under investigation by the Inglewood Police Department, the arraignment for case YA105353 is slated for August 29th in Department 5 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Inglewood Branch.
