“Police Activity: Last Saturday evening, NCPD officers responded to the 200 block of Commercial St. on a report of a man urinating in public, throwing street barricades, and spitting on people.
The first officer to arrive observed the suspect throwing around traffic safety cones. The suspect was ordered to stop. The suspect instead raised a cone above his head and charged toward a bystander. The officer immediately rushed the suspect to prevent an apparent assault.
During the course of the apprehension, the suspect kicked at and struck our officer with the traffic cone, causing minor injury.
The suspect was subsequently identified as 32-year-old Lukas Teff from Citrus Heights, CA. Teff was booked into the local jail with pending charges: public intoxication, challenging others to fight, and battery on a police officer.”
