“On, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office received a Burglary report from Wildwood, CA. Among the stolen property had been a variety of tools, a vehicle, and several firearms.
During the course of the investigation, Deputies were able to identify several suspects, which included Robert Quigley III, Autumn Cantway, and Shaun Espinoza.
On March 8, 2022 the Sheriff’s Office contacted Quigley and Cantway and interviewed them both; both were placed under arrest for the Burglary.
On the same date, a Search Warrant was served on a travel trailer in Hayfork, where they had reportedly been residing. During the course of the Search Warrant, stolen tools as well as two stolen firearms were located and seized.
The trailer, which had been the subject of the Search Warrant, was also determined to have been stolen during a separate out of county incident. The California Highway Patrol responded and recovered the trailer.
Espinoza was located several days later, at which time he was interviewed and arrested for his part in the incident.
