Task Force Collab Nabs Child Molestation Suspect – Seeking Additional Victims

WEST COVINA – An arrest and advisory were blasted March 24th – for the SoCal area, with current emphasis on West Covina, and the City of Los Angeles. A child-molestation suspect was nabbed during a task-force collaboration.
West Covina Police Detectives in tandem with the the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force – Team 2, arrested West Covina resident Benjamin Gutierrez (57).
“The suspect was arrested and booked for 288(a) PC (lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 years old),” said Officer Alexus Napoles.
This individual is believed to have additional victims . He is known to have lived in the City of Los Angeles. Gutierrez was arrested and booked for 288(a) PC (lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 years old).
Advisory – West Covina PD is requesting assistance from the public. Anyone with information that may
assist in the investigation is urged to contact Detective Pruitt at (626) 939-8522. The suspect is being held with a bail amount of $300,000.
