Authorities in California and Nevada have arrested multiple people and confiscated a multitude of evidence in connection to an alleged drug trafficking ring being operated out of Tulare County, California.
On March 22, Tulare County task force detectives, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration, conducted a multi-state drug seizure related to the alleged operation.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, detectives identified and arrested 35-year-old Martel Rivera as a supplier of methamphetamine for the operation. 37-year-old Moses Rivera, 26-year-old Josh Rivera, and 29-year-old Tyler Rodgers were also arrested. Detectives also reportedly confiscated 50 pounds of meth and 2,000 fentanyl pills during the operation in Las Vegas.
Detectives served more search warrants in California — in Exeter, Farmersville, and Woodlake — and confiscated seventeen pounds of meth, four pounds of heroin, over four kilos of cocaine, and over six kilos of fentanyl, as well as fifty guns. Fourteen of those guns had been reported stolen out of Exeter, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Two more individuals — 33-year-old Adam Bennett and 36-year-old Caleb Martinez — were also arrested.
More state and federal charges are pending for all suspects, the Sheriff’s Office said.
