Trinity County Sheriff: Arrest for various alleged crimes involving children and the internet

On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Deputies with the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jesse Land, for various crimes involving children and the internet.
Land was taken into custody without incident, and various Search Warrants were served at his residence. During an interview with Land, he admitted to his involvement in the matter.
Land remains in custody at the Trinity County Jail for the below referenced charges.
Charges:
288.2 PC: Distributing or Showing Pornography to a Minor
288.3 PC: Contact with a Minor for Sexual Offense
311.11 PC: Possession of Child Pornography after a Prior Conviction
