“On February 18th 2022, Officers received information regarding the possible possession of child pornography by a male subject. A search warrant was authored for a computer and a forensic evaluation of the computer was conducted by the Sacramento Valley Hi-tech Crimes Task Force.
On March 30th 2022 the Mount Shasta Police Department received the results. The search revealed there to be approximately 200 photographs depicting children of different ages engaged in a variety of sexual activity.
On April 1st, 2022, Mount Shasta Police Department Officers executed an arrest warrant on Arthur Franklin Timothy Boyd, 39 of Yreka for possession of Child Pornography. Boyd was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Siskiyou County Jail. A search warrant was also executed at Boyd’s residence.
Based on the information located at the search of Boyd’s residence, it is believed there are possibly unnamed victims of sexual assault(s) and/or illicit contacts with minors, committed by Boyd.
