“On the morning of Friday, April 8th around 6:30am, a citizen reported his trailer was stolen from his driveway at some point the night prior. The victim of the trailer theft located his trailer in a residential area near Cold Stream Road attached to the thief’s vehicle. The suspects disconnected the trailer and fled the location at a high rate of speed. The victim provided a description of the vehicle and advised dispatch of the vehicles last location of travel.
Truckee Police Officers located the vehicle traveling Southbound on Highway 267 a short time later. A high-risk vehicle stop was conducted, and three occupants were detained.
The investigation revealed the suspects broke into the trailer and stole a high-end bicycle from inside and were in possession of burglary tools. The three suspects, Jereny Chapman, Kimberly Loza and Dylan Stambaugh, all out of Sacramento, were arrested and booked into the Nevada County Jail on charges of stealing the trailer, burglary, and possession of burglary tools.”
