TEMECULA – Three armed commercial robberies are under investigation by The Riverside County Sheriff’s Southwest Station – which took place during the week of March 20 – 27, 2022. The scenes of the crimes span various Temecula businesses: The Rodeway Inn in Old Town, a Subway Sandwich Shop, and a 76 Gas Station.
Investigators later ID’d the suspect as Sean Truman Harris (34), of Cedarpines Park, in San Bernardino County. His mode of operation was to brandish a weapon and demand cash from employees, before either leaving the robbed business on foot, or depart in a newer 4-door gray compact vehicle.
Harris’ identifiable charactaristics remained consistent in images captured throughout three of the crimes: a 6’3” tall, 190-lb. white male with blue eyes and brown hair, with multiple tattoos and a distinct tattoo on his right hand. Clothing remained the same, as well, throughout the robbery spree: a distinct black sweatshirt with two red stripes down the sleeves.
As of the week of April 20th – Sergeant Frank Tiburzio announced that Harris has been arrested and charged on three robbery counts. Held on $500K bail at Cois Byrd Detention Center – the arrested suspect is believed to have committed additional robberies in the vast Southern California area.
Since the ongoing investigation (File # TE220790146) has revealed that more commercial robberies have been suspected to have been included in Sean Truman Harris’ string of armed robberies, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department urges anyone with further information to please give a call to Investigator Joseph Marquez at (951) 696-3045 or Sergeant Frank Tiburzio at (951) 696-3043 from the Riverside Sheriff’s Southwest Station.
