“On April 24th, 2022 at approximately 2:00 P.M. Redding Police Officers responded to Jack in the Box located at 4085 Railroad Avenue for a report of a subject who attempted an armed robbery with a knife.
Officers confirmed with an employee that a subject entered the restaurant wearing a skull face mask. In spite of this, an employee recognized him as an ex-employee, named Andrew Harrington, 32 years of Cottonwood. The employee said he presented a knife and demanded money from the register, but the employee refused, so he left.
Officers located Harrington nearby wearing different clothing. He was positively identified by the employee and Officers searched extensively and located the clothing he was wearing during the attempted robbery, along with the knife he brandished. Harrington was arrested and booked into the Shasta County jail for attempted robbery.”
