Suspect Arrested for Allegedly Making Threats to Shoot Customers at Business

BRENTWOOD — A suspect was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot terrified customers at a business. The man was quickly apprehended, and a firearm and ammunition were safely confiscated from him.
First, several callers reported a disturbance on the 600 block of First Street. There was a man acting belligerent and threatening to start a fight. Several more calls followed, but this time callers reported that he was armed.
Several witnesses pointed out to responding officers the direction the suspect was last seen walking. Allen T. Green, a 37-year-old resident of Sacramento, was located and arrested without further incident.
Witnesses told officers a tense situation escalated until Green threatened to start shooting. He purportedly displayed a firearm while making his threats. Fortunately, no one was shot.
Green was taken into custody on April 24 at 1:03 p.m. He remains incarcerated at the West County Detention Facility in lieu of $175,000 bond. As it happens, Green is a previously convicted felon who is not allowed to possess a weapon.
He was booked on multiple charges including several weapons-related charges for –
Felon in possession of a firearm
Exhibiting a firearm
Carrying a concealed weapon
Carrying a loaded firearm
Carrying a loaded stolen firearm
Additional charges facing Green include receiving stolen property and making criminal threats
with intent to terrorize.
