“RIVERSIDE, CA – On Sunday, April 24, 2022, the Corona Police Department was able to locate two possible accomplices from an arson that occurred earlier this month in Riverside.
The City of Riverside’s Fire/Arson Investigations Unit and the Riverside Police Department’s Technical Services Unit (TSU/Bomb Squad) responded to Corona and took over the scene.
Through their investigation, two females were arrested in connection to the original fire from April 2, 2022. Fire Investigators arrested Daniela Castro Nunez, 23-years-old of Corona, for multiple arson violations, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of explosives.
They also arrested Alexis Monique Garcia, 21-years-old of Corona, for arson, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of a controlled substance. Both women were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. All charges were filed with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.”
