Suspect arrested in alleged murder of two Anaheim men

Ramy Fahim, a 26-year-old man from Irvine, has been arrested in connection to the murders of two Anaheim men in their apartment on April 19th.

The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Griffin Robert Cuomo and 23-year-old Jonathan Andrew Bahm.  Police found them both deceased inside their apartment in the 2100 block of East Katella Avenue around 6:30 AM after someone had called to report a possible assault in progress.

Officers found Fahim still inside the apartment as well, “suffering from a minor injury,” said Sgt. Shane Carringer.  After he was treated at a nearby hospital, he was interviewed and subsequently arrested for the murder of the two men.

“Detectives have confirmed Fahim and Cuomo were coworkers but have declined to provide any additional information or possible motive for the murders,” said Sgt. Carringer.

Fahim’s vehicle was seized as evidence, and a knife believed to be the murder weapon was found inside the apartment.

Fahim was booked into Anaheim City Jail without bail.
