Convicted sex offender arrested again on multiple charges

“On Tuesday, 4/26 Roseville Police Detectives in coordination with the Sacramento Valley High Tech Crimes Task Force and Placer County Sheriff’s Office Detectives served a search warrant on a house in the 1400 block of Vista Creek Way in Roseville.
The warrant was served based on an investigation that generated from a tip reported through the High Tech Crimes Task Force. The investigation was related to internet crimes against children and the suspect was identified as 37 year old Carlos Gallardo out of Roseville. Gallardo is a known sex offender who resides in Roseville and was out of compliance with his sex registration.
This a great example of multi-jurisdictional cooperation. With the combined efforts of the Sacramento Valley High Tech Crimes Task Force, Placer County Sheriff’s Office and Roseville Police Department Gallardo was arrested and booked into the South Placer Jail on multiple charges including failing to register as a sex offender, possession of child pornography, possession of controlled substances, and child endangerment. His bail has been set at $500,000.
