“Two people were arrested early this morning after Red Bluff officers located 32 grams of Fentanyl during a traffic stop.
On April 27 at 12:19 a.m., a Red Bluff Police officer stopped a vehicle for a code violation near 130 Gilmore Rd. The officer contacted the driver, identified as Thomas Pittman, and the passenger, Jessica Stafford, both of Red Bluff.
Pittman was found to have several outstanding warrants for his arrest and was on active Post Release Community Supervision out of Tehama County Probation. He was placed under arrest for five outstanding felony warrants and four outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers located Fentanyl and a large amount of currency on him during a search, as well as a digital scale, packaging material, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
The passenger, Stafford, was searched after admitting to possessing a small amount of Fentanyl located inside the vehicle. Officers found an additional 27.1 grams of Fentanyl hidden on her person. She and Pittman were arrested for transportation of a controlled substance, possession for sales, and possession of a controlled substance.
Officer seized a total of 32 grams of Fentanyl and more than $700 in cash.”
